THE CHALLENGE

Contrary to how it appears, speaker design is a complex blend of art & science. The challenge was to develop a speaker which is optimally balanced for diverse musical genres as well as suited for high end studio reference as well as prolonged fatigue free listening. This means having minimal phase distortion and wide bandwidth.

THE SOLUTION

After countless experiments and study of numerous designs the most optimal design topology selected was Transmission lines. The speaker was designed with aluminum composite cone drivers with very low distortion in low frequencies and the enclosure was hand crafted with line tuning at 23 Hz. The high frequency driver was chosen to be Aluminum dome for lower distortion than fabric dome counterpart. The crossovers deploy German made high end LCR components and inductors are hand wound air core to match exact specs. The Line and crossover tuning was done live using REW software. As i call it, these speakers are designed to disappear.
